The Pilot

The Pilot was first patented and produced by Chelsea Clock in 1911. The metal case is forged from solid brass. The forged brass bezel opens with the original "shield" hinge and latch design. The clock's dial is made from deeply etched brass then hand silvered, enameled and lacquered. Hand-crafted Ship's Bell mechanism which chimes one bell for each half hour on a four hour watch. This clock consists of 364 steel and gold plated parts with an 11 jewel movement. Limited edition quantity of 500 pieces produced.
